Training on Preventing Radicalization and Extremism Leading to Terrorism – Nigeria
Introduction This will be the seventh training under CCCPA's PRELT program. The course was developed by the Cairo Center and is the first of its kind in Africa. CCCPA's unique approach to preventing radicalization and extremism leading to terrorism is grounded in the tolerant teachings of Islamic Sharia law. Pre-Deployment Training for Egyptian Troops Joining MINUSMA
This pre-deployment training will be for Egyptian peacekeepers joining the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). The training will be implemented in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Defense, in accordance with General Assembly Resolution A/RES/49/37.   The curriculum is based on UN Peacekeeping PDT Standards and covers topics such as UN peacekeeping operation principles; protection of civilians, the nature of conflict in the respective country; international humanitarian law and human rights; and preventing sexual exploitation and ...more
