Pre-Deployment Training for Egyptian Troops Joining MINUSCA
Cairo, Egypt - CCCPA held a pre-deployment training (PDT) for Egyptianpeacekeepers who will be joining the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA). 610 peacekeepers attended the training from 16-26 December 2019. To date, Egypt’s total contribution to MINUSCA is 1,135 peacekeepers (troop and police). Pre-Deployment Training for Egyptian Troops Joining MINUSMA
Cairo, Egypt - CCCPA organized a Pre-Deployment Training (PDT) course for 275 Egyptian peacekeeping forces joining the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) from 7-12 November 2019. The aim of the PDT is to train and prepare peacekeepers before their deployment to the mission area. The training is a collaboration between CCCPA and the Egyptian Ministry of Defense, in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1769 in 2007. CCCPA’s first foundational training on Enhancing the Engagement of Arab Women Leaders in Building Community Resilience to Radicalization and Extremism leading to Terrorism

Enhancing Arab Women Diplomats’ Negotiation and Mediation Skills
Cairo, Egypt – The important role of women as positive agents of peace has been emphasized by the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325 (2000), and the eight subsequent resolutions that together form the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda.
